A real-world example of an IBMS is when in a society a DG is working on a 30 per cent capacity, against its maximum capacity of 80 per cent,

it consumes more fuel. With the help of IBMS, the system can not only utilise the DG set at its full capacity, but also utilise the electricity supply in other systems as well; systems such as filling water tanks and that too optimally. This results in fuel saving as well as cut in electricity cost.
